Lisa Clayton has worked in the Mortgage Banking industry for 25 years. She began her career in 1982 answering the telephones, with the largest Mortgage Banker in America, learning the business from the ground up. She has been a Mortgage Banker with Granite Mortgage for 20 years and currently serves as a Senior Vice President.

Lisa loves working with people and has helped many clients achieve the American dream. She says, “It is my niche. I love what I do”. She is well known for her ability to stretch a dollar further than anyone! This skill has enabled many of her clients to achieve their financial goals. Lisa takes a personal interest in each of her clients helping them reorganize their finances to get maximum benefit. “Sometimes it takes another set of eyes to find extra money in their budget that would make their mortgage payment more comfortable. This could make the difference in getting what they want as opposed to what they can afford.”

Lisa has been married for 27 years; her husband, David is a police captain for the Winston-Salem Police Department. They have two children, Bridgette 22 and Adam 18. Lisa’s other interest in life is rescuing Labrador Retrievers. She is a foster mom for Lab Rescue placing many dogs in new loving homes. Lisa enjoys playing tennis competitively. Being captain of her mixed doubles team, she took them to the State Finals two years ago. Lisa loves to cook and entertain family and friends.
